Group inverse and core inverse in Banach and C*-algebras

Abstract

In this paper, we have focused our study on the acute perturbation of the group inverse for the elements of Banach algebra with respect to the spectral radius. We also give perturbation analysis for the core inverse in C*- algebra. The perturbation bounds for the core inverse under some conditions are presented. Additionally, this paper extends the results obtained in [11, 14].     

Computer-aided design of formulated products

Formulated products represent a particular class of complex chemical products, and their design is typically based on experience and extensive experimentation. Although still at an early stage, and despite that their potential is not fully accessed and not fully used by the industry, computer-aided design (CAD) methods and tools offer many possibilities in the design of formulated products. The CAD methodology based on computerized models enables the formulation chemists to speed up the design process, without completely replacing experiments.In this work, we summarize previous studies in the field and present important elements of the CAD framework, emphasizing estimation methods for key target properties, link to specifications, and finally, some case studies will illustrate how the CAD framework can be used in practice for formulated products.     

集团统一审计、审计风险与组成部分重要性水平

针对集团审计的特性,运用贝叶斯定理构建集团审计模型GUAM,并用伽玛概率分布函数表示先验函数、后验函数与似然函数,用于规范集团各组成部分的重要性水平核算,将模型从单一组织扩展到集团层面的审计,并建立了各组成部分重要性水平与相对可变成本的计算公式,通过各组成部分的资产等标准分配权重,进而确定合适的先验水平使得集团整体的可变成本降低,以达到提高集团审计效率,通过集团层面的控制,使得在完成集团整体目标置信水平的基础上达到最佳审计效果的目的.     

On the non-emptiness of the one-core and the bargaining set of committee games

We study the committee decision making process using game theory. Shenoy  [15] introduced two solution concepts: the one-core and the bargaining set, and showed that the one-core of a simple committee game is nonempty if there are at most four players. We extend this result by proving that whether the committee is simple or not, as far as there are less than five players, the one-core is nonempty. This result also holds for the bargaining set.     

Growth and homogeneity of matchbox manifolds

A matchbox manifold with one-dimensional leaves which has equicontinuous holonomy dynamics must be a homogeneous space, and so must be homeomorphic to a classical Vietoris solenoid. In this work, we consider the problem, what can be said about a matchbox manifold with equicontinuous holonomy dynamics, and all of whose leaves have at most polynomial growth type? We show that such a space must have a finite covering for which the global holonomy group of its foliation is nilpotent. As a consequence, we show that if the growth type of the leaves is polynomial of degree at most 3, then there exists a finite covering which is homogeneous. If the growth type of the leaves is polynomial of degree at least 4, then there are additional obstructions to homogeneity, which arise from the structure of nilpotent groups.     

Block designs signed over groups of order 2n3m

We introduce a new piecewise construction technique for generalised Bhaskar Rao designs and the concepts of generalised Bhaskar Rao block design pieces and holey generalised Bhaskar Rao block designs. We prove composition theorems for these designs. Using this construction technique and the theory of group representations, and the representations of $2$-groups over the field with $3$ elements, we show that the established necessary conditions for the existence of generalised Bhaskar Rao designs of block size $3$ are sufficient for all groups of order $2^n{3}^m$.
